Although there is enough research and articles already have been written on this topic but still I believe that putting up the bits and pieces I found will unleash at least a few things.
India is the land of variations, art and culture. And it is enfolded with its traditional values and faith. The very intense connection of Indian Culture to the faith can be depicted from importance of Indian temples. They are the true example of conviction to the spirituality and existence of god. These temples are continuously spreading the fragrance of humanity, divine spirit and devotion. Indian temples are always an attraction to the world which made the travelers to visit India and fall in love with. The unmatched architecture, the feel of divine power, the peace of mind, the grace and the beauty of these temples encourage the whole world to come here in search of the ultimate power.
Indian culture is deeply comprised of traditional values and these temples perfectly describe the story. There are about 33 crore gods and goddesses and countless of temples in India. Each links a community to that ultimate power being that holy place of living of God.
Well some of the very holy destinations known to me are: Vaishno Devi, Jagannath Puri, Mansorovar Kailash, Badrinath, Kedarnath, Khajuraho Temples, Konark Sun Temple, Golden Temple, Birla Mandir, Somnath Temple, Ranakpur Jain Temples, Ellora Cave Temples, Tirupati Balaji, Chamunda Devi Temple, Dwarkadhish temple…..and the list is going on. These temples are truly amazing and eye bobbling. Peoples used to come here and just took away by the beauty and the magic they found there. The temples also served as centers for the arts since they would employ many artists to paint scenes from the Pauranic legends or carve beautiful sculptures.
